Great travel tips

Like most people, I love getting away from it all and grabbing a few days travelling. I travel in all sorts of capacities. I travel on business, I travel first class, I travel budget and I occasionally still go back packing. Basically I love travelling and I’ve got some golden rules that I always use when I’m getting ready to go away, so say tuned for my budget travel tips:

Booking:
If it’s a family holiday, or something important I always book super early to ensure that I get exactlt the package, flight and accommodation that I want. If it’s something just for me, I’ll often book last minute so that I can save a few pennies on teh whole affair.

Passports:
I ALWAYS make sure that I’ve got a valid passport and know exactly where it is at all times. Have you ever got to the airport and not been able to find your passport? Let me tell you, It’s not a fun situation to be in, it’s horrific.

Travel Insurance:
Don’t just take the budget travel insurance option - it’s not always the best idea. Depending on what type of travelling you’re planning to do you may need to increase or decrease cover depending on your needs. Afterall, cheap travel insurance is a false economy if it doesn’t cover the one thing you desperately need.

Accommodation:
I’m a bit of a stickler for checking travel details, but I always, always recommend my friends to double check their accommodation details BEFORE departure. There really is nothing worse than arriving at your destination only to find that the hotel has never even heard of you!
