All of the people, all of the time?
I guess that when you post over 400 articles in less than a year, you’re going to PO someone, and I’m not talking about a person with contrary views on a particular subject.
I received an email from a small company who objected to a comment another person made, and claimed that the comment infringed upon their copyright. It didn’t, but who needs a winning lawsuit to defend? Not me.
The company wanted the comment deleted so, I deleted the comment. But I also deleted the entire post which was very positive about the company’s product. You don’t get to pick and choose what you want to see around here.

I have a hard time believing a comment “infringed upon their copyright.” That would abridge freedom of speech. Now if it was a long paper or such, maybe, but I doubt it.
But you are correct in your action, who needs a lawsuit when you’re retired and trying to enjoy the good life.

The comment contained a hack for a free software product (a Widget) I recommended. Part of the suggestion was to remove the upgrading portion of the code in order to make the software run faster. I think that was the area of concern.
Easier to delete the post than to defend a position.
