Gas at Safeway this am (Sept. 4) was $3.09. At Circle K, it was $3.29. Anyone see an end in sight?
Last year, the Attorney General proposed the legislature pass an "anti-gouging" law. This was after the pipeline problem made gas in Phoenix somewhat scarce, and when any number of stations took advantage of this without justification. At least one station raised the price to over $5.00 a gallon. Our Neanderthal legislature, totally in the pocket of business and the Mormon church, turned it down. Now look what we are stuck with---gouging everywhere and nothing (effectively) that can be done.
This state sucks when it comes to anything progesssive.

KC gas price today up 25 cents to $2.99; diesel, $2.79.

I must go to Omaha in the AM to pick up product. The round trip will cost me about $75.00. This means coffee price will go up!
