Future of Bashas’ Supermarket
What’s going to happen to Bashas’ Supermarket here in Green Valley when Wal-Mart opens their superstore nearby? My guess? Look for the current Bashas’ store to become a Food City. I just don’t see them competitive situated between Safeway to the West and Wal-Mart to the East.
It would be nice to have an AJ’s Fine Foods, but that’s not going to happen IMHO. Besides, Food City would be a welcome alternative to Safeway and Wal-Mart. Look for Bashas’ to build a Supermarket in the Canoa area to the South.
