Green Valley Moments
You’ve all had them. Especially if you’re over 55. You don’t have to live here to experience senior moments.
You know, like when you’re mind goes blank and you say,
“It’ll come to me later.”
Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t.The older we get, the more it happens. Part of the aging process perhaps.
I have this theory that my brain is sized like a memory chip in a computer. I like to think of mine as having about 1 Gig of capacity. Well, it’s maxed out. I’m have been operating at full capacity for several years now. If I am able to remember (store) some new information, something has to be erased to make room.
If we should ever meet and I try to remember your name, I may forget my telephone number, or, worse yet, my first love. So, if you ever see me wandering around Green Valley, please just look the other way and keep walking. Don’t stop and introduce yourself. I may get lost and need to call home!

I’ve enjoyed reading the various topics you’ve posted here.
If we meet on the street, you better remember my name.
By the way, did you want to tell us about “your first love” before you forget? Just a thought.
p.s. The veggie tray looked better than the hot wings…
