Homes with swimming pools
I recently installed a 1.6 gallon new toilet and the water saved is more than I put in my pool. If everyone changed out their old, water guzzling toilets, a lot more water would be saved than banning swimming pools.
On the other hand, if this policy is implemented, maybe my home with a pool will become more valuable.
Sometimes a public policy idea seems so far out there that it makes you stop in your tracks and say, “Huh?” Pima County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry’s proposal to severely limit pools in new homes seems to be one of those ideas.
