Monsoon Season Officially Arrives!
After three consecutive days with average dewpoints at 54° or higher, it’s official.
The dewpoints for last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were high enough, so the monsoon season officially started on Monday. Confusing? Yes it is, but I didn’t make up the rules.
We got a brief shower this afternoon and the temperature dropped to where it is almost bearable outside. Thirty-seven Thirty-eight Thirty-nine consecutive days of above 100° temperatures is enough and almost record breaking.
This is the second latest recorded start of the monsoons. Hope Emily gets the message and visits.
