Power to the people!
All of those letters submitted by Green Valley residents, especially those in Villas West, must have worked.
While they still plan on opening another store in the Sahuarita area, the Walgreens Drug Store at Esperanza Boulevard and La Canada will remain open.
At least for now!
It’s handy for us who live in the area and I applaud their decision not to close the store. It did surprise me though. A corporation today actually listening to the customer? What will be next? Improved customer service? Drive through Rx? Woops! Coming Soon!
